Amlopril 10\/20<\/h2><\/div>

Composition :<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Amlopril 10 \/ 20: Each capsule contains:<\/p>\n

Amlodipine besylate equivalent to 10 mg Amlodipine, Benazepril HCL 20 mg.<\/p>\n

Indications:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Amlopril is indicated for the treatment of hypertension (This fixed combination drug is not indicated for the initial therapy of hypertension).<\/p>\n

Dosage:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

– In clinical trials of Amlodipine\/Benazepril combination therapy using Amlodipine doses 2.5 \u2013 10 mg and Benazepril doses 10 \u2013 80 mg once-daily, and will be reached after approximately 2 and 7 days of dosing.<\/p>\n

– Use in patient with metabolic impairment: regimens of therapy with Amlopril need not take account of renal function as long as the patients creatinine clearance is > 30 ml \/ min \/ 1.73 m2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

– In patients with more severe renal impairment, the recommended initial dose of Benazepril is 5 mg.<\/p>\n

– In hepatically impaired , alcoholic, and adolescent patients the recommended initial dose of Amlodipine ,as monotherapy or as a component of combination therapy, is 2.5mg.<\/p>\n
