BACTE DERM<\/h2><\/div>

Composition :<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Each 1 g contains fusidic acid 2% and 0.1% betamethasone<\/p>\n

Pharmacodynamics:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This drug contains 2 different types of medicine. One medicine is called fusidic acid. It is a type of antibiotic. The other medicine is called betamethasone valerate. It is a type of corticosteroid (steroid).<\/p>\n

These 2 medicines work at the same time in different ways.<\/p>\n

This drug works by:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • The antibiotic killing bacteria that cause infections.<\/li>\n
  • The corticosteroid reducing any swelling, redness or itchiness of your skin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    indications:<\/u><\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

    This drug is used to treat:<\/p>\n

    Conditions where the skin is inflamed (eczema or dermatitis) and also infected by germs.<\/p>\n

    Dosage :<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    This medicine is only for use on skin. Do not swallow it. Do not put it inside your body.<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Patient should wash his hands before using the cream. If used it on your face be careful to avoid your eyes.<\/li>\n
    • Unless you are using the cream to treat your hands, always wash your hands after using the cream.<\/li>\n
    • If the cream get accidentally in the eye, it should be washed out with cold water straight away. Then bathed with eyewash if possible.. If Patient start to have any problems with sight or eye is sore, contact the doctor immediately.<\/li>\n
    • The usual treatment time is up to 2 weeks<\/li>\n
    • skin improvement should be noticed after just a few days of using the cream. If there is no improvement after 7 days cream should be stopped and go back to doctor.<\/li>\n
    • Usually cream should be used twice each day. in the morning and evening.<\/li>\n
    • If Patient have been told to cover the skin with any dressings or bandages Patient may not need to use the medicine so often. A nappy on a baby may act as a dressing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Adults and children<\/u>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      Patient can use your first\u00a0 finger to measure how much cream to use. Squeeze the cream along your finger from the tip to the first joint as shown in the diagram. This is called a fingertip unit.<\/p>\n

      The usual number of units you need to cover different parts of the body is shown in the diagrams. If Patient need to use a little more or a little less do not worry. If cream is used on a child still use an adult finger to measure out the fingertip unit.<\/p>\n
