NASONIDE<\/h2><\/div>

Composition:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

NASONIDE : Each spray, contains budesonide 32 micrograms.<\/p>\n

Indications: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and vasomotor rhinitis. Treatment of nasal polyps.<\/p>\n

Dosage: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dosage should be individualised.<\/p>\n

Rhinitis (Adults including the elderly) :<\/strong><\/p>\n

Recommended start dose: 256 micrograms per day.<\/p>\n

Once daily dosing: Two applications of 64 micrograms or 4 applications of 32 micrograms into each nostril each morning.<\/p>\n

Twice daily dosing: One application of 64 micrograms or Two applications of 32 micrograms into each nostril morning and evening.<\/p>\n

If good effect is achieved, one application of 64 micrograms or Two applications of 32 micrograms into each nostril each morning.<\/p>\n

Treatment of seasonal rhinitis should, if possible, start before exposure to the allergens. Treatment can be continued for up to 3 months.<\/em><\/p>\n

The dose should be titrated to the lowest dose at which effective control of symptoms is achieved.<\/p>\n

Nasal Polyps (Adults including the elderly) :<\/strong><\/p>\n

Recommended dose: 256 micrograms per day<\/p>\n

Once daily dosing: Not applicable<\/p>\n

Twice daily dosing: One application of 64 micrograms or Two applications of 32 micrograms\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 into each nostril morning and evening.<\/p>\n

Rhinitis and Nasal Polyps :<\/strong><\/p>\n

The patient should be informed that the full effect of this product is not achieved until after a few days treatment. Patients should be reminded of the importance of taking this medicine regularly.<\/p>\n

If symptoms are not controlled, or persist for longer than 2 weeks of treatment, medical advice must be sought.<\/p>\n

Paediatric population<\/u>: There are insufficient data .<\/p>\n

Method of administration :<\/strong><\/p>\n

For nasal inhalation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

NASONIDE : glass bottle fitted with a plastic nasal spray pump contains 15 ml with concentration of\u00a0 0.64% in carton box.<\/p>\n<\/div>
