Shahbagam 100<\/h2><\/div>

Composition:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Shahbagam 100: Each tablet contains 100mg Tiaprofenic acid.<\/p>\n

Indications: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, low back pain, musculo-skeletal disorders such as fibrositis, capsulitis, epicondylitis and other soft-tissue inflammatory conditions, sprains and strains, post-operative inflammation and pain and other soft tissue injuries.<\/p>\n

Dosage: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

For oral administration.<\/p>\n

To be swallowed whole.<\/p>\n

To be taken preferably with or after food.<\/p>\n

Adults:<\/strong><\/p>\n

600 mg daily in divided doses.<\/p>\n

300mg twice a day.<\/p>\n

Alternatively 200mg three times a day.<\/p>\n

Elderly:<\/strong><\/p>\n

As for adults, NSAIDs should be used with particular caution in older patients who are at increased risk of the serious consequences of adverse reactions.<\/p>\n

In cases of renal, cardiac or hepatic impairment, the dosage should be kept as low as possible. It is suggested that in such cases, the dosage be reduced to 200 mg twice daily.<\/p>\n

If an NSAID is considered necessary, elderly patients should receive the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration and be monitored regularly for gastrointestinal bleeding for following initiation of NSAID therapy.<\/p>\n

Children:<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are insufficient data to recommend use of tiaprofenic acid in children.<\/p>\n

Undesirable effects may be minimised by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to control symptoms.<\/p>\n

Shahbagam 100: Box of carton contains 3 blisters (PVC\/Aluminum) of 10 tablets.<\/p>\n<\/div>
