Aminocaprol syr

Composition:

Each 5 ml syrup contains: Aminocaproic acid 1.25 gr.

Indications:

Should be given to stop bleedings resulting from surgical operation, obstetric complications, traumatic injuries, and genitourinary bleedings.

Dosage:

It is suggested that 4 teaspoonfuls ( 5 ml ) of syrup of Aminocaprol be administered during the first hour of treatment, followed be continuing rate of 1 teaspoonful ( 5 ml ) of syrup per hour. This method of treatment would ordinarily be continued for about 8 hours or until the bleeding situation has been controlled.
