Rythmax 300
Composition :
Rythmax 300 mg each film coated tablet contains : Propafenone HCL … 300 mg
Indications :
To prolong the time to recurrence of:
– Paroxysmal a trial fibrillation / flutter ( PAF ) associated with disabling symptoms.
– Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia ( PSVT ) associated with disabling symptoms.
– Rythmax is also indicated for the treatment of documented ventricular arrhytmias, such as sustained ventricular tachycardia, that, in the judgment of the physician, are life-threating.
Dosage :
The dose of propafenone, must be individually determined on the basis of patients response and tolerance. The initial dose is 150 mg given every 8 hours ( 450 mg / day ). Dosage may be increased at 3 to 4 day intervals to 225 mg every 12 hours ( 675 mg / day ). Should a further increase in dosage be necessary a maximum dose of 300 mg every 8 hours ( 900 mg / day ) may be given.
Do not use beyond the expiry date indicated on the lable.
